The Espace Louis Vuitton hosts “Ecritures Silencieuses”, a fascinating exhibition combining archaic writing and contemporary artistic expression. His inspiration: Three mysterious tablets. Silent, because they are still undecipherable to this day, they are written in “glyph” signs, typographical characters of the language “Rongo Rongo”, the aboriginal dialect of the Easter Island – or Rapa Nui.
From these tablets, which were presented for the first time outside the Vatican Museum, fifteen internationally renowned artists created works on the themes of Impression, Language and Scripture.
